Looks like the title has changed.
And this is definitely not related to the Tim Burton film from 2001. In that film the apes were our companion animals and were slightly enhanced to control ships. In this film they're going straight from animal to dominant species.
Anybody else planning to see this? I'm looking forward to it. I've always loved the Planet Of The Apes franchise. I watched the TV series when I was a kid and even read the original french (translated into English) story.

I will DEFINITELY watch this! I LOVE Planet of the Apes movies and series... all of them. I especially like the trivia associated with the series.

I should send you up my copy of the "Planet Of The Apes: The Fall", which is a semi-sequel to the 2001 Tim Burton/Mark Wahlberg movie. I really liked it, even though it's not a part of the original franchise.
