What did you think were the best, and worst, things in the following categories?
Best/Worst television series (doesn't have to be a new one)?
Best/Worst movie?
Best/Worst comic title, story arc or issue?

For television I'll say:
BEST: The Walking Dead (it was worth the wait) WORST: Caprica (had promise but the letdown earned it this spot)
For movies:
BEST: Iron Man 2 WORST: Funny People (I just did not get it) HONORABLE MENTION: Kick-Ass (the ending I just didn't like)
For books:
BEST: Why Not A Spider Monkey Jesus? (I absolutely love AG's style) WORST: I don't think I read a bad book. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was kind of weak. But generally I stop reading books that are bad.
And, finally, for comics:
BEST: Brightest Day WORST: I think "Tom Strong And The Robots Of Doom" was a big build up to a .... nothing.

Television: Best- Futurama (That relaunch was so very sweet.) Worst-... Can't really say, since I honestly don't watch a lot of television, and especially not stuff that I dislike.
Movies: Best- True Grit (Hands down, masterpiece of the year.) Worst- Vampires Suck (Aside from some pretty hot actresses to look at, good lord this "parody" was PAINFUL.)
Books: ... Don't think I read any that were published this year. Sorry!
Comics: Best- Brightest Day (DC sucks me in, and keeps me nestled to its teats.) Worst- New Avengers (The "Heroic Age" relaunching of the Avengers books have been VERY mixed, with "Secret" being a major highlight, "Avengers" being about average, "A. Academy" not exactly great, but "New Avengers" is basically the Brian Michael Bendis dialogue train that NEVER... ENDS.)

It has been a great ride to see how Geoff Johns is reimagining characters like Dead Man and Aqualad. And the who story arch is just so involving and well thought out. What do you think of the side tales like Green Arrow (with the Robin Hood/King Arthur thing going on)? I just started reading The Avengers with December and it's... meh...after one issue it's hard to decide. I have the new issue that came out this week but haven't read it yet. But I bought the back issues for Fantastic Four and liked that for the most part. Do you follow any Marvel?

I didn't even answer your question, McPierce! Shame on me! I do mutter and grumble about the whole "Avengers" situation, but that may be THE Marvel stuff I read, that's new. I tried sticking with the "Hulk" for a while, during WWH, but it just lost me at a certain point. Most of my Marvel reading is either current-ish trades through the library, or buying Essentials, so I can get a lot of good retro reading. (Which I could complain about... Lousy reissuing of previously existing volumes, with NO no Essentials in MONTHS...)

I tried sticking with the "Hulk" for a while, during WWH, but it just lost me at a certain point. That's an interesting topic there: the whole Planet Hulk/World War Hulk/Hulkapalooza sequence events. I read WWH (but not PH) and thought it was pretty cool. But I read it all at once after it had ended. I never got to Planet Hulk and the whole Skaar story (someday, though) but think I have the general gist of it. Reply in the Super Heroes board, but what was it that lost you?

I've heard "Last Exorcism" mentioned a lot lately. But every time I keep thinking of the film I watched this week, "Legion: Final Exorcism". What's "Last Exorcism"?
