Has anybody read the new Flash by Geoff Johns and Francis Manipul? It looks good and I got the first 2 issues, but it didn't hook me.
Did I make a mistake? is it a really good series?

It does get better... but for a stretch of time, it was one of the SLOWEST to come out titles for DC. Johns may need to reel projects back a bit.

My issue was more with the time travel elements of the first story arch. I'm really not a fan of having people from the future come back to "fix" things. But the twist with the resolution could be interesting.

I didn't even realize my unintentional pun. Good call! Now that the time travel arc has ended, it looks like Johns is getting back to the Rogues' stuff. We just had a really cool Captain Boomerang origin issue, and next up will be a Reverse Flash story.

I noticed that Kolins is coming back for a couple issues, I love his art ESPECIALLY on Flash. I have the 1st and maybe the second issues right now, might catch up soon

I like that they're doing those issues, since Flash was active in Green Lantern for the past two issues. It's crazy when a character is all over the place in comics doing simultaneous storylines.

Grey, I have to say Scott Kolins has done AWESOME work for the newest Justice Society of America run. He's seriously stepped up his game on that title.
McPierce... *cough*WOLVERINE*cough* I was going to say something about a character being stretched around in simultanious storylines, but now I forgot. Oh well!

Deadpool REALLY? Is that character cool? I was more commenting on how, like Wolverine, Deadpool is stretched WAY too thin with having several of his own titles as well as being in other crossover titles. He is a cool character, he's just way overused.
