I have this book called The Phantom of the Movies' Videoscope that has hundreds of reviews for cult movies and I noticed this movie called The Surgeon from 1994 (or 1999 according to IMDB)
The movie stars Peter Boyle (X-Files, Everybody Loves Raymond), Malcolm McDowell, Charles Dance (Alien 3) and James Remar (Dexter)
With a cast like that I'm curious. Has anybody else heard of this film? There doesn't seem to be a trailer on youtube unfortunately

Its about a crazy surgeon. To be honest if it weren't for the cast I wouldn't give this one a second look

Hehe. I think that's the legacy "Human Centipede" has left for us: it has serious raised (or lowered) the bar for what is "gross" in a film. Just like how the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" had upped the bar on horror back in the 70s, but is pretty tame compared to films that came later. That's part of what I liked about "Human Centipede": it pushed the envelope.
