Started watching the Swedish movie from last year. It is interesting so far.
I tried to read the book first and stalled when I hit some history and politics. Did I make a mistake? Anybody read the novel from Stieg Larrson?

started The Girl who Played with fire and GOOD LORD, the girl on girl scene in that movie makes Black Swan look like playing doctor at recess in the 6th grade!

So far it focuses on "The Girl" and a friend who is a journalist who solve mysteries and fight crime. It is explosively sexual at time and the characters are pretty well developed. The first book/movie had some excellent plot threads and a fun mystery
