Does anybody rip movies to their iPod or other devices?
My sons have a copy of "Blue Harvest" that came with a digital copy. But they managed to lose the serial number without ever having ripped the digital copy.
So I want to rip a copy (since we legally have a right to) but am not sure how to load it onto my iPod. I tried once before doing it and it failed. Any suggestions?

I use 'Format Factory" for nearly all of my conversion stuff now. It does just about everything you can imagine, and it's free. In fact, I convert my fav movies to .mp3 and listen only while working. www.pcfreetime.com/

Does it handle converting from, say, AVI to MP4 as well?
